Hilldun Connector - Overview and Activation

The Hilldun Connector integrates Zedonk’s sales and invoicing workflow directly with Hilldun’s factoring services. This connection streamlines your accounts receivable process by automating the exchange of credit requests, decisions, and invoices between the two systems. By eliminating the need for manual double-entry, the connector ensures that your open orders and invoices in Zedonk are always synchronised with your financial status at Hilldun.

Available Tasks

The connector manages the data flow through four distinct tasks. These tasks cover the full lifecycle of a transaction, from the initial order to the final invoice adjustment.

  1. Credit Request Export: Sends a selected Sales Order from Zedonk to Hilldun to request credit approval. This acts as your formal application for credit protection on a specific order.
  2. Credit Response Import: Checks for updates from Hilldun every hour. If Hilldun has Approved or Declined a request, this task automatically populates the status back into the Sales Order in Zedonk, giving your team up-to-date visibility and shipping clearance.
  3. Invoice Export: Once goods are shipped and an Invoice is finalised in Zedonk, this task transmits the invoice data to Hilldun. This officially assigns the receivable to Hilldun for factoring and collection.
  4. Credit Note Export: If a return, delay or damage occurs, this task sends the corresponding Credit Note to Hilldun to adjust the amount owed.

Before you send your first credit request, ensure your customers in Zedonk are updated with the correct Factoring Payment Terms:
