How To - Bulk Upload Colour Variants to an Existing Raw Material

You can add new colour variants to existing Raw Materials using the Data Import feature.

You can export existing Product information using the Export CSV if you are adding multiple colour variants to multiple Raw Materials in your system. This will allow you to copy and paste data from one file to another.

From the Raw Materials drop down menu, click [Data Import].

Select [Download Template] to download the file to add your data into.

This will automatically download the .CSV file onto your Computer...

You can use the guide within the Data Import area to see what fields are mandatory for the import.

Add the existing Raw Material in the first line of the Data Import template

You will need to add this in so the Import knows which existing Raw Material to create new Variants in.

See example below - 2CC Invisible Zip in Bone - 56cm is already present in the system:

Make sure to delete any columns you are not using for the Data Import to avoid importing blank data!

Then you can add in your new Colour Variants you want to add.

See example below adding Grey and Black colourways of the same 2CC Invisible Zip article.

Once all the new Variants have been added in, it is time to Import!

Upload the file into the Raw Material Data Import area, then click Next and the system will validate your data.
