You can create new Raw Materials in bulk using import templates.
You can add the following Raw Material details: Raw Material ID, Our Reference, Material Category, Supplier, UM (Unit of Measurement), Composition, Care Instructions, Width Size, Type for Product Costings, External Reference, Intrastat, Colour, Supplier Colour Ref, Currency Name, Cost and Memo Card.
From Raw Materials dropdown menu select [Data Import]
Select [Download Template] to download .csv template file
The CSV template file will download onto your computer...
You must complete the mandatory columns
To create Raw Materials, leave Match On - Raw Materials and Match On - Colour column blank
For any column where a drop-down list was created in your Zedonk (Material Category; Supplier; Type for Product Costing), you must enter a valid entry from that list.
Only the mandatory columns are required, all other columns can be completed if information is available, or deleted if not relevant
Once complete, drag and drop the CSV file or click [+ Select File] and locate file. Click [Next] to continue
The validation screen allows you to view 'valid' columns that have been recognised, and 'invalid' columns which have not been recognised
Click [Next] to continue
Validation results will provide a summary of the number of valid Raw Materials to be created
If any errors have occurred, select [Error] to review the reason for error and either amend the .csv file or deselect lines in error to proceed
Click [Error] to see reason for Error status. You can choose to amend .csv and import again (or deselect error rows and proceed with initial import)
Click [Import Data] to proceed
Review [Import Data] pop up, once confirmed, click [Ok] to generate
