The customer synchronisation feature matches customer records between Zedonk and QuickBooks. Specifically, the <Customer Name> field in Zedonk must align with the <Display name as> field in QuickBooks.

If you are an existing QuickBooks user, it is essential to ensure that customer names are identical in both systems before the first sync. This will prevent the creation of duplicate customer entries in QuickBooks.

For those using a new QuickBooks system, your existing Zedonk customers will be exported automatically into QuickBooks.

Please note: While customer names are displayed in capital letters in Zedonk, QuickBooks is case-sensitive. If you are not satisfied with how a customer's name appears in QuickBooks, you can simply amend it in Zedonk and perform a re-sync.

Product-specific details, such as Product ID, Style, Fabric, or Colour, are not transferred to QuickBooks. To retain a record of this information, you have the option to attach Zedonk Invoices and Credit Note PDFs to the exported data, which will store a copy of these documents in QuickBooks.

Invoices and Credit Notes that are exported to QuickBooks will include the following details:

• Zedonk Products: The total number of items and the total goods value.
• Zedonk Discount: The total discount value.
• Zedonk Freight: The freight value.
• Sales Tax: The sales tax value.
