Sending documents through the e-Invoicing connector

Once sent, an eInvoice cannot be changed or resent.

If you need to amend an eInvoice that has already been sent, you will need to create a credit note to reverse it.

Select the documents you want to send through the connector, then click [Send].

The Send to eInvoicing window will pop up, this displays an overview of your selected documents, this will also highlight whether each document is valid or invalid.

Hover over any invalid entry to view the error message.

Review your results to make sure you are happy with everything.

Remove documents you do not wish to send by deselecting the checkbox next to the document number.

Click Send [X] to eInvoicing when you are ready to proceed, or click Cancel to exit.

Common Issues/Troubleshooting

"My customer said they can't receive the invoice"

Possible causes & steps to resolve:

  1. Verify the SIRET: Check that the SIRET on the customer record matches what is on their KBIS. Update the details in Zedonk if there is a mismatch.
  2. Confirm provider registration: If the SIRET is correct, ask your customer to confirm with their e-invoicing provider that their account is fully setup and registered to receive invoices.
  3. Format compatibility: Platform setup issues can occasionally block formats. These usually resolve automatically once your customer's system is fully configured.

"Why is there a delay before I can start sending?"

The platform takes up to 24 hours to activate a new sender.

Allow 1-2 business days between finishing setup and sending your first invoice.

"The status has been 'Sent' for hours"

French e-invoices are routed through the tax authority before delivery to your customer.

Delivery times range from a few minutes to several hours depending on the receiving system.

"My invoice was Rejected"

Always check the rejection reason shown directly in Zedonk before taking action:

  • Business rejection: The buyer has disputed the invoice. Issue a credit note and submit a new invoice.
  • Technical rejection: A data error prevented delivery. Correct the missing or incorrect details in Zedonk and resubmit.
