You can update Raw Materials in bulk using .csv export/import.
You can update the following Raw Material details: Material Category, Supplier, UM (Unit of Measurement), Composition, Care Instructions, Width Size, Type for Product Costings, External Reference, Intrastat, Colour, Supplier Colour Ref, Currency Name, Cost, and Memo Card.
Ensure any data fields you wish to amend are visible on Raw Materials by Colour List View
Click on LAYOUT/FILTER symbol and select Select/Move/Filter
In the example below, all records will have the composition and width size updated
When finished click OK
Select all records to update, from the [X Selected] dropdown click [Export CSV]
Open the file and make necessary amendments
Only keep and populate the columns you want to use. Blanks are imported and may overwrite your data.
Ensure to leave 'Match On - Raw Material ID' and 'Match On - Colour' columns unchanged
Save file as .csv for import
From Raw Materials dropdown select [Data Import]
From this page, you will need to download the import template, click [Download]
Then copy and paste the data from your amended CSV to this new template, referencing the relevant columns
You will need to ensure the 'Match On - Raw Material ID' and 'Match On - Colour' columns contain data of the existing raw material articles you are wanting to update. This allows Zedonk to 'LookUp' the existing records and perform the updates present in existing columns
Select your finished .csv file or drag and drop it, click [Next] to proceed
You see the validation screen to review headers
Click [Next] to proceed
Your import has been validated
Pop up shows a summary of the import
Any amendments will be highlighted in green to review
Once confirmed, click [Import Data] to continue, from Import Data pop up click [OK] to update
Success!
Your Raw Materials have now been updated!
