If you are working with Sales Agents to enter your Sales Orders, you might consider creating Customer Account Manager Groups for your Sales Agents. Each user can have their system permissions limited as per their Group, so that you only grant them access to their Customers, Sales Orders, and Digital Showroom.
Create a New User for your Sales Agent
To create a user for your Sales Agent, follow the guide below:
If your user allowance is maximised, you will need to purchase an additional license for your sales agent(s) to access Zedonk. Contact [email protected] for more information.
To use this feature to it's full potential...
1. Begin by Creating your Customer Account Manager Groups and Commission rates: Customer Settings - Customer Account Manager Groups
2. Restrict the User Access by 4 settings:
General Settings > Users Management > Username > System Permissions > Account Manager - Restrict Access by Account Manager Group
This setting automatically limits the User to:
a. View only the Customers within their Group
b. View and send only the Linesheets (in Digital Showroom) made by their User
c. Send these Linesheets (in Digital Showroom) made by their User, to Customers within their Group
d. View only the Selections (in Digital Showroom) made by their User
e. Create and View Sales Orders only for Customers within their group
General Settings > Users Management > Username > System Permissions > Settings > Customer Settings > Customer Account Manager
This setting automatically limits the User:
a) So they are not be able to view their own, and other Account Manager Groups
b) So they cannot edit the Commission for their User within each Customer
General Settings > Users Management > Username > System Permissions > Settings > Customer Settings > User Customer List
This setting automatically limits the User, so they are not be able to view the Customers listed under their own and other Account Manager Groups
General Settings > Users Management > Username > System Permissions > Settings > General Settings > Users Management
This will restrict their access to the User permissions, blocking them from turning these restrictions off.
n.b. Take the time to review and untick any other settings or modules you would like to restrict for the User.
3. Select which Groups this User belongs to:
A new tab will have appeared under General Settings > Users Management > Username > System Permissions labelled 'Account Manager Groups', here you can tick which group(s) this User belongs to:
4. Assign Customers to the Account Manager Groups, and edit Commission if necessary:
a) This can be done individually, within the Customer Record.
And press [SAVE] to complete
b) Or this can be done through Bulk Actions
By selecting the Customer records to assign to the same Account Manager Group at once, and press 'Bulk Actions' in the Action menu:
Follow the steps through to Step 3, where you can select the Account Manager Group, and edit the Commission:
And press [Perform Action] to complete
