If globally unique EAN or UPC codes are required, a range can be purchased from a provider such as GS1. These globally unique barcode numbers can then be allocated to products using the Barcode Module.
The Barcodes Module is an optional add-on.

Please note that a barcode number cannot be duplicated in Zedonk. To re-assign a barcode number, you must delete the barcode number from the old product/size first.
Go to the Barcodes module, then click [Settings]
Select whether UPC-A or EAN-13 codes are being used, and enter the first and last number of the range purchased
Specify if you want to apply barcodes to Inactive and Withdrawn products
Go to the [Seasons] tab and select the season(s) to apply barcodes to. Click [Save]
Confirm and click [Yes, Continue]
