If globally unique EAN or UPC codes are required, a range can be purchased from a provider such as GS1. These globally unique barcode numbers can then be allocated to products using the Barcode Module.
Please note that a barcode number cannot be duplicated in Zedonk. To re-assign a barcode number, you must delete the barcode number from the old product/size first.
Go to Barcode Settings
Select whether UPC or EAN codes are being used and enter the first and last number of the range purchased
Select the season to apply barcodes to and specify if you want to apply barcodes to Inactive and Withdrawn products, click [Save]
If confirmed to continue, click [Ok]
