Barcodes - Data Export / Import

If you have your barcodes defined outside of Zedonk you can import these via CSV import/export. You can also use this function if you want to chose specific products to have barcodes. In both cases, please be sure to select Manual as the Generation Method within Barcode Settings

Please note that a barcode number cannot be duplicated in Zedonk. To re-assign a barcode number, you must delete the barcode number from the old product/size first.

From Barcodes list view, locate the products you wish to manually add barcodes to

Search by season or by using search function

To amend via .csv select products you wish to update, click [X Selected] dropdown and select [Export CSV]

Complete .csv

- Product ID, Size and Barcode are the only mandatory columns required for import

- The file must contain these three column headers and have a maximum of 5000 rows

Note: If you edit a file in Excel and save, you may lose any leading zeros

When finished save .csv file

From Barcode dropdown, select [Data Import]

Drag and Drop .csv file to import data back into Zedonk and click [Next]

Confirm Product ID, Size and Barcode headers are valid and click [Next] to head to validation screen

You see the Validation screen to review data

For any products with status listed as Error, click [Error] for an explanation

Either deselect the product in error to proceed, or amend the CSV and follow import process again *****

See Validation Results for an overview of the number of products updated
