You may need to delete or reassign a barcode number(s) from a product you no longer sell or you have accidentally assigned a barcode number to.
Prior to deleting product barcode numbers, it's crucial you check internally the impact on integrated systems (warehouse management systems, e-commerce etc.)
Please note, if your barcode generation method setting is set to Random or Sequential, once you delete the old barcodes, Zedonk will automatically re-generate barcode numbers.
You may wish to note down the Start and End Numbers and temporarily changing the generation method setting to Manual to avoid this from happening, then reverting to Random or Sequential.
From your Barcodes List View, select the products/sizes for which you wish to remove the Barcode numbers
Use the Quick Search or Filter tools to only display the products you need.
Select items, then go to the 'Selected' menu and click 'Delete'
The following pop-up will appear, type 'DELETE' in the field, and click 'Perform Action'
Your Barcodes will be deleted
You can also use the 'Edit' feature on the list view to delete/re-assign barcodes manually.
