Exchange Rates Overview

Exchange rates are season-specific and can be amended in your General Settings. They are used to:

  • Convert sales orders in foreign currencies into your base currency.
  • Convert Make/First costs and Raw Materials unit cost in foreign currencies into your base currency.
  • Convert Purchase Order values in foreign currencies into your base currency.
  • Convert Production Order values in foreign currencies into your base currency.

When creating a new season, it is important to update exchange rates in your General Settings to ensure accurate currency conversions for the season.

When you create a new season, go to the Exchange Rates tab and update the seasonal exchange rate

By default, the exchange rate from the previous season will be carried over automatically.

The exchange rate entered in your Season Settings will impact

Sales Orders - the Sub Total in your base currency on List View and in the Reports module

Purchase Orders - the Sub Total in your base currency on List View and in the Reports module

You can amend the exchange rate for individual Products

You can also amend the exchange rate for individual Raw Materials
