Book Out - Add Production Order in Production Orders

Used when creating Production Orders (Dockets) to a Manufacturer in advance of Sales Orders.

Production Orders is part of the Inventory Module and is an optional add-on. Click here HELLO ZEDONK for more information about the Inventory Module

Select [+ New Production]

Select the Manufacturer from the dropdown, click [Create]

Docket Details

  1. Manufacturer Address - Pulled from the manufacturer's record. Click the [Pencil Icon] to edit.
  2. Ship To Address - The Default 'Ship To' Address from your System Settings. Click the [Pencil Icon] to edit or select from a list of 'Ship To' addresses.
  3. Creation Date - Today's date. Click to select a different date.
  4. Docket Reference - Enter a specific docket reference number (optional).
  5. Delivery Dates - Enter the expected delivery dates. Click the [All Products] button to apply these dates to every product on the Products tab.
  6. Shipper and Shipping Terms - Enter the shipping details.
  7. Payment Terms - Pulled from the manufacturer's record. Click the [Pencil Icon] to edit.
  8. Manufacturer Confirmed - Note the date once the manufacturer has confirmed receipt of the order.
  9. Comments - Any additional comments that will be visible on the printed documentation

 

Products

Use [Quick Add] to select Products from dropdown

Or [+ Advanced Add] for additional details and filtering options

Select the Products you wish to add to the Production Order, or click [Select All Displayed] to add all displayed Products.

Add Quantities to each and amend Actual Cost if needed

Use the [From] and [To] fields to specify the expected delivery date for each product. If you are expecting all products to arrive at the same time, go to the Docket Details tab and click the [All Products] button next to the delivery fields to apply the dates to every product on the Products tab.

Save and Close
