Book In - Data Import - Create Book In or In Transit

You can create a single or multiple Book Ins against a Production Order using the Data Import template.

From Production Book Out / Book In dropdown menu select [Book In Import]

If you do not see this option, ask your Zedonk administrator to follow the General Settings - User Management - User Permissions lesson and enable the 'Production Book Out/In > Production - Import' permission.

Click [Download Template]

Select the docket you wish to create a Book In for from the pop up and click [Export x Docket] to download Book In template

Open file in excel to add data

This will download a CSV file populated with details from the Production Order

  1. Docket: Docket Number
  2. Reference: (optional) Enter the Book In Reference. To create multiple Book Ins for the same Docket on one upload, you must give each Book In a different Reference.
  3. Product ID: Enter the Product ID
  4. Size: Enter the size listed on the Docket.
  5. Barcode: Enter the barcode number
  6. Docket Quantity: Enter the total quantity listed on this docket
  7. Quantity: Enter the units to be booked in

If using barcodes ensure to reformat Barcode column to a Number format:

If you have the multi-location inventory module enabled, you will notice an additional Location column that is mandatory.

Enter details for the Book In (or Book Ins) you wish to create

To create an In Transit select [In Transit] from [Type] dropdown before clicking [Import]

Success!

To create a Book In select [Book In] from [Type] dropdown before clicking [Import]
