An In Transit (also known as an Advanced Shipping Notice) is a list of units expected from your Manufacturer that can be counted against before Booking In and adding stock to Inventory and having the units reflect as Closing Stock.
From Production Book Out / Book In find the correct docket and click [Pending] or [Partial] in the Book In column
Select [In Transit] to create new, and pick the relevant location that In Transit is heading to, and click [Create]
Complete the form according to the packing list you have received from your Manufacturer + [Save]
The 'Pending' quantities you will see on the in transit, will be the pending units specific to that location as outlined when managing the 'Ship To' quantities on the docket.
You can use the 'Autofill' buttons to autofill by line or the full balance for all styles all at once.
Select 'Print' from the 'Actions' menu to generate a PDF for the In Transit quantities
Once quantities have been applied, you will not be able to edit the in transit location. You would need to remove the quantities before you can change the location.
