This guide will introduce you to using the Sales App to collect orders. You'll learn how to navigate its interface to present products, accurately capture customer selections, and finalise sales orders.
We will break the guide into 3 main phases:
- Prepare, ahead of the market
- Collecting orders
- New season
Each step is linked to a relevant Zedonkopedia lesson. Steps must be followed in the correct order.
Any actions that need to be performed in Zedonk will be referred to as Zedonk Web.
Any actions that need to be performed on the app will be referred to as Sales App.
Prepare, ahead of the market
Before you start selling, ensure you have downloaded the app, exported the product catalogue and customers from Zedonk Web and ensure all settings on boh the Zedonk Web (Connector) and the Sales App are correct and reflect the season (and ATS inventory, if applicable) you are working in. You may also want to create a few test orders (follow the steps in the Collecting Orders section) to familiarise yourself with the workflow.
- Create your Customers on Zedonk Web
- Create your Product Catalogue on Zedonk Web
- Enter your Connect Settings on Zedonk Web
- Export Data from Zedonk Web
- Download Zedonk App from Apple Store or Android Store on your device
- Run Sync on the Sales App
- Enter your Sales App Settings on the Sales App
- Prepare Assortment Planners on the Sales App
Collecting Orders
Once you have your app downloaded, customers and catalogue ready, learn how to collect orders and what options are available to you. Orders can be collected offline on the Sales App, but at the end of the day, you will need to go online and submit all orders to Zedonk Web.
New Season
You have completed your first season with the Sales App and now you want to use it again. Ensure you remove the old collection and add a new collection to the catalogue, new customers are created and exported to the Sales App, and all settings are updated on both the Zedonk Web (Connector) and the Sales App to enable you to collect orders.
If you have changed your Zedonk Web password since the last time you used the Sales App, you will need to go to Connectors > Zedonk Sales App > Actions > and click the green arrow, next to [User Accounts - Export].
If you have changed your iPad device since the last time you used the Sales App, you will need to contact [email protected] to reset your device license.
If you have attempted to log in with an incorrect password more than 4 times, your user account will be locked out. Contact [email protected] to unlock your user account.
