Sales Orders - Change Currency of a Sales Order

You can change the currency on a sales order, but only if no subdocuments (such as a proforma, delivery note, invoice, or credit note) have been created for it. If subdocuments already exist, you'll need to make them inactive first. Once you've changed the sales order's currency, you can reactivate the subdocuments, and they will automatically update to the new currency.

From the list view, search for the Sales Order and click the SO number to access it

Type in the CUSTOMER in the SEARCH field and click on SEARCH

On the Sales Order record, you can see the order currency

In the top right hand corner you will see the CURRENCY drop down list

Select the new currency from the drop-down list

To change the currency , select the new currency from the drop down list

Confirm the currency change. Click [Yes, Change Currency]

You will get this dialogue box

Your product prices and totals have now been updated to the new currency

If you are sure, select OK and the order will populate with the new currency

Click [Save]
